Pictures of me and my ex-boyfriend?

How many of you have kept in touch with partners from past relationships?  Every relationship started somewhere and that somewhere is usually where another relationship ended.  The BIG question is should that past relationship matter?  Jason and I both dated quite a few people in the past and we have pictures, gifts and memories from our history with other people.  What do you do with that?  Do you destroy everything?  Do you cease contact with the past?  What if you went on a great trip with someone and you want to remember the trip, maybe not the actual person, what do you do?

Oh I have an interesting prospective about this topic. I strongly believe that what you are today is a result of your past. If you hold your partner completely away from his past, you may hold him in a cage. On the other hand, open doors are an exit with bad surprises.
Some ex-relationships turn into friends, casual friends and others into coworkers… others are lost within the past's dust.

Let your partner decide, or maybe he made that choice.
Now that you are together, feel confident about your relationship, and cherish it.

I do not know what you should do with the gift? as for the pictures (really who needs a reminder of those, or do we?),
Can you keep their friendship? should you Be their best friend?

No matter what we all tell you, do what keeps you asleep at night.
trust your partner, be confident in yourself, cherish your love. You will know the answer in time when the situation arises.
